• It’s about feelings over facts, or at least my feelings if I think someone has oppressed me. This oppression can just be someone not having the same views as me and my in-group.

  We all have feelings but we have to be mature enough to recognise that these need to be informed by evidence.

  These feeling-objections are often very convenient, one-sided, eg if their boss didn’t ‘feel’ they’d put in enough effort for their hours and so was not going to pay them as much – that feeling/truth would not be accepted!
