It’s appropriate to be apprehensive about things that are strange or that we have heard about in a non-affirming way.
The key is to work out what to do - usually strangeness should be overcome by getting to know the person and the key is understanding the condition and reflecting on what God would want. Typically this comes from Bible study and discussion.
What about heterophobia: ‘smash heteronormativity’ said one activist ?
